We stand behind the quality of every seed we sell. Our germination guarantee means that if your seeds don't perform as expected under normal growing conditions, we'll make it right. Here's everything you need to know about our returns and refund process.
ILGM offers a germination guarantee on all seed products purchased directly from our website. If your seeds fail to germinate under the conditions outlined in our growing guides, we will send you replacement seeds free of charge.
To be eligible for the guarantee, you must:
- Have purchased the seeds directly from ILGM.
- Follow the germination method described in our official growing guides.
- Contact us within 30 days of your expected germination date.
- Provide photographic evidence of the germination attempt.
The guarantee covers seed viability and genetics quality. It does not cover issues arising from incorrect growing conditions, environmental factors, pests, or user error.
Due to the nature of seed products, we are unable to accept returns of opened seed packaging. This policy exists to maintain product integrity and protect all customers.
Returns may be accepted in the following circumstances:
- The order arrived damaged or the packaging was compromised in transit.
- You received incorrect seeds (wrong variety or quantity).
- The seeds were not received and are confirmed lost by the carrier.
Unopened products in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of receipt, subject to prior authorisation from our customer support team.
To initiate a return, replacement request, or refund claim, please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Contact our customer support team via ilgm.com/pages/contact or email support@ilgm.com.
- Step 2: Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and any supporting photographs.
- Step 3: Our team will review your claim within 3 business days and advise on next steps.
- Step 4: If approved, we will dispatch replacement seeds or process a refund within 5 business days of approval.
Please do not return seeds without prior authorisation, as unauthorised returns cannot be processed.
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Full refunds are issued for orders that are lost in transit and not recovered.
- Partial refunds may be issued for orders where only part of the shipment is affected.
- Refunds do not include original shipping charges unless the return is due to our error.
We aim to resolve all claims fairly and quickly. If you have any concerns about the outcome of a claim, please escalate to our management team via the contact page.
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please:
- Check your tracking information (provided in your dispatch confirmation email).
- Allow an additional 5 business days beyond the estimated delivery date before contacting us, as postal delays can occur.
- Contact our support team if the order is confirmed lost by the carrier or has exceeded 30 days from dispatch.
We will investigate and, if the order is confirmed lost, resend or refund at no additional cost to you.
